| Bio: |  My typically bio is something like "I'm me...deal with it." However, I figured I changed things up here. First things first. This here livejournal is flocked. Why? you may ask. because many a year ago, my mother discovered this journal. And I honestly don't need my parents knowing certain details of my life. Yes, I'm an adult, and yes, I can do as I please. That doesn't mean everyone needs to know my business. Understand? If I don't know you, and you friend me without commenting on my one and only public post, or responding when I comment on your journal asking who the hell you are...I will actually ban_set your ass. Why? Well because I don't want to see your name showing up on my "friend of" list. It's as simple as that. I like to keep my profile looking tidy. So deal with it. Now on to the juicy bits. I'm in my 20's, married, with three cats. I'm a slave of the great state of California. I alternately love and hate the union. I like politics. I have a degree in government. I'm terribly left-leaning at times, and extremely conservative at other times. I vote for the candidate I agree with, not the one who looks good, or shares my political party. I've been registered as a democrat, a republican, a libertarian, and an independent. Labels mean nothing to me. But they are convenient. I rarely talk politics in my journal, unless it's brought on by something to do with work. Again with the labels, I'm bisexual. I typically prefer women, but am happily married to a man. Go figure. I'm also a domme. I'm intrigued by subs, and have many subby friends. I've never found anyone dominant enough to truly top me (well, I have, but...that's a whole other story.) Arrogant, but true. I'm always looking through. Call it my eternal quest. The other reason for flocking...I'm not going to waste the time thinking up creative nicknames for everyone I mention. I do talk about my sexuality. And I don't filter. Sometimes I don't even cut. If something is seriously NWS, I will, but most of the time, you have a mouse...use it. You don't want to read, feel free to scroll by. You've been warned. My husband, ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} raven_nomad, is my best friend, and one of the only people I know who can put up with me for any long period of time. I am generally a nice person, but have a mean, cold, calculating, cruel streak as well. I'm a hard person to be friends with, let alone be in a relationship with. I believe in brutal honesty. I accept this about myself, and those that I do consider my friends put up with, and most of the time appreciate, my abilities to act as a conscience for them. If I accept someone into my fold of friends, I will do anything for them. I believe in absolutely loyalty. Betray me, and thats it. End of story. I've done the whole forgive and forget thing in the past, and it always backfires. As I said, I'm a hard person to be friends with. You've been warned. I talk about my friends. Many of them are on my flist. I don't filter things from them. They know my feelings on honesty. I like when my various friends, both IRL and online, end up friending each other. It gives me a warm fuzzy. Teehee!Religiously, I'm a daemon-centric panentheist with heathen tendencies. That means I worship daemons, with a little added flavor on the side. Lucifer is the head of my pantheon. I believe the daemons are in and around everything, and yet are greater than everything. I'm also a wanderer of Loki. I have a great working relationship with Odin and Thor. I don't slam other religions, only people. I've experimenting with Christianity (oh, those crazy college years), and if it works for someone else, great. I don't care. Neither should you. I could care less about fluffy bunnies. Everyone has to start somewhere, and eventually fluffies will either grow up or move on. Let's see, I've covered sex, religion, and politics. Yes, I like talking about the things everyone says to keep quiet. Other points of interest. I'm a writer. I'm struggling with my first novel, which is done, except that it needs to be rewritten. I've accepted that it will likely be crap, as it's my first, and I'm ok with that. I've dabbled in fanfic, including slash. I collect penguins. And wolves. I find the two animals to be very similar. I think hedgehogs are cute. I paint, knit, crochet, make my own oils, candles and soaps. I also love playing with beads, but only real ones. Pony beads have no place in my home. Around my house, my husband cooks and cleans, and I do all the plumbing, wiring, and handiwork. I can cook, and come from a long line of cooks, however there's no need for me to cook. Some might call me spoiled, I tend to think I'm just practical. I love reading, and I play the piano. I like porn. Even bad porn is useful for the snark factor. I'm addicted to British tv programs. I lived in England when I was a kid, and have never gotten over my annoyance at being forced to move back to the states. I have one brother, buried in England. My parents are divorced. My mom is caretaker to her father, and my dad is living with the psycho hose beast and her two kids. I think I've about given you my life story, insomuch as I wanted to.
